The spirit of mercy is alive and well in 6th class!

The children in 6th class have been learning about Catherine McAuley in History this week. Sister Maeve came in on Monday morning and told them all about the Mercy Sisters and taught them all about the spirit of Mercy. On Thursday, the 6th class classroom transformed into a St. Brigit’s cross factory for the day as the children made beautiful crosses to give to Fr. Cadam to hand out on his first Friday visits for February. The spirit of Mercy is still alive and well in Granard! A big thank you has to go to Miss McKiernan and Miss Brady for supplying us with the rushes!
